Mendocino Reed Grass, also known as Calamagrostis foliosa, is a cool-season, clump-forming ornamental grass that is native to California. It is known for its arching, bluish-green foliage that turns purplish in the fall. In spring, the grass produces pinkish-purple flower spikes that mature to a tawny beige.
