Important Notes for All Repotting/Planting Services

Appointments:

For Custom Repotting and Custom Container Builds, we recommend making an appointment at our Puyallup location. Our Federal Way and Olympia locations offer these services on a first-come, first-served basis, so feel free to drop by during store hours.

Sick Plants:

We are unable to repot plants showing signs of disease or pests in store.

If you have questions about sick plants, you can make a Disease or Pest ID appointment with an expert on our Shop with an Expert page.

Same-Day Pickup:

All repotted or custom-built plants must be taken home the same day the service is performed. We cannot hold plants.

SERVICES

Free Houseplant Repotting Service

  • What it is: Basic repotting for a single houseplant.
  • When it's Free: This service is complimentary when you purchase both a new houseplant AND a new pot from us.
  • Soil: Includes our standard house potting soil. Specialty soil is available for an additional fee.
  • Availability: Offered at all locations. Not available on Mother's Day weekend.

Custom Repotting (Your Plants from Home) 

  • What it is: You bring in your existing plant(s) from home for us to repot.
  • Cost: This is a fee-based service, quoted upon arrival based on the plant's size and the amount and type of soil needed and amount of time required to complete the job.
  • Availability: Offered at all locations on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to volume, project size, and staffing, walk-in requests may have longer wait times or may not be able to be fulfilled on the same day. Please note that this service is not available during our peak season (April - June).

Custom Container Builds

  • What it is: We'll custom-plant multiple plants you purchase from our store into a container you also purchase from us or one you bring from home.
  • Cost: This is a fee-based service, quoted upon arrival based on the complexity and the amount and type of soil or materials needed.
  • Process: Our team will build your custom container while you wait.
  • Availability: Offered at all locations on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to volume, project size, and staffing, walk-in requests may have longer wait times or may not be able to be fulfilled on the same day.
In Pierce County and Parts of King and Thurston Counties

Site-Based Container Design  

Transform your indoor or outdoor containers with our expert design team. We'll handle the on-site installation of pottery and plants, whether you're starting fresh or revamping existing displays. We also offer seasonal refreshments. Relax and let us bring your vision to life.  

Cost: Initial consultation starts at $125; On-site installation starts at $90/hour/person, plus delivery and materials. Average visits start at $600.
