Description

The 'Venus' Dogwood (Cornus x 'KN30-8') is a spectacular hybrid from the Jersey Star® series, renowned for producing the largest and most prolific white blooms of any dogwood. This award-winning ornamental tree is a landscape showstopper, featuring massive, creamy-white bracts that can reach up to 6 inches across, creating a nearly solid wall of white in late spring.

Key Features:

  • Mature size: 15–20 ft. tall x 18–25 ft. wide

  • Sun exposure: Full sun to part shade

  • Growth rate: Moderate; vigorous upright and spreading habit

  • USDA Hardiness Zone: 5–9

  • Bloom time: Late May to June (blooms after C. florida)

  • Disease resistant: Exceptionally resistant to Dogwood Anthracnose and Powdery Mildew

We recommend using EB Stone Organic Sure Start when planting to promote strong root growth and help ensure the health of the plant.
